About BoomGen Studios

Forward Leap and BoomGen Studios came together based on the shared conviction that storytelling is the most powerful catalyst for social change. Stories shape our world and give meaning to our lives. Stories help us know each other - and ourselves - better. BoomGen Studios is the entertainment industry’s leading incubator, producer, and promoter of multimedia content relating to the peoples and cultures of the Greater Middle East and the broader Muslim world. BoomGen's mission is to create a sustainable economy around commercially viable and culturally resonant entertainment for mainstream markets globally.

However not all projects or initiatives that require BoomGen's expertiese are commercial projects, and require funding from grants, foundations, individual donors. Forward Leap is proud to be the fiscal sponsor for BoomGen Studios projects that require funding from the non-profit sector.

About Sink Project

SINK proposes to organize and carry out, for the first time, a large-scale, international art event that will largely take place underwater-an event in which the difficulties and possibilities afforded by this beautiful, unorthodox environment will become an integral component of the installations created. The artists selected to participate in SINK will range in age, gender, nationality, and notoriety, but all will be carefully chosen on the basis of their ability to meet the challenges posed by this exhibit in creative and exciting ways. Although the focus of the exhibition is on the visual arts, persons from other creative disciplines will also be invited to participate. By inviting artist to participate who have a range of different aesthetic philosophies and interests, SINK will allow a diversity of visual and conceptual issues to be addressed.
